Eiffel Tower - A Paris classic

Let's begin with Paris's most iconic landmark – the Eiffel Tower. While the series showcases the tower primarily as a background fixture, it remains a symbolic start to any Parisian journey. Whether you dine nearby for that enchanting backdrop or climb it for a panoramic view, the Eiffel Tower is a must-visit for anyone, not just Emily fans.

How to visit the Eiffel Tower properly

Going to the Eifell tower in the day will seem underwhelming (it is, after all, like many disgruntled visitors say, “just an old telephone tower”). To capture the true beauty of the Eiffel Tower, go in the evening, grab some food, wine and cheese from Rue de Nil and set up for a romantic picnic. Make sure you time it so that you’re there to see the tower sparkle every hour.

Place de l'Estrapade - Emily’s home and Gabriell’s restaurant

The quaint Place de l'Estrapade in the 5th arrondissement is home to Emily's charming apartment. With its classic Parisian architecture and a maze of cobblestone streets, this location embodies the vintage allure of Paris. In the square, you will also find Gabriell’s restaurant (an Italian restaurant called Terra Nerra in real life) and Boulangerie Moderne from where Emily regularly gets her croissants

Place de Valois - Savoir’s office

Nestled quietly in the centre of Paris is Place de Valois, home to the fictional office of Savoir, where Emily works. In reality, this square radiates tranquillity and offers visitors a quiet reprieve from the busier parts of Paris. Sit on a bench, read a book, or watch the world go by.

Opposite the Galerie Patrick Fourtin (the building we see in the show when they are showing Savoir’s office) is the restaurant in which the staff of Savoir frequently have their famous wine-fuelled lunches.

Just around the corner from Place de Valois is Jardin du Palais Royal, a beautiful park Emily often walks through. You can also find one of our favourite coffee shops here, Café Kitsumé.

Seine River and Pont Alexandre III

Rue de l’Abreuvoir - The prettiest street in Paris

This iconic street just beside Montmarte is a must-visit, the cobbled roads, hilly backdrop, and the famous Maison Rose make for extremely pretty photo opportunities.
