During our month-long stay in New York, the Olde Brooklyn Bagel Shoppe on Vanderbilt Avenue became our go-to place for mouthwatering bagels.

Nestled in the heart of Brooklyn, this charming shop offered a wide selection of bagels and cream cheeses and embodied the city's true essence.

Each day, we were drawn to the delightful aroma of freshly baked, hand-rolled bagels that wafted through the air as we entered the shop. The kettle-boiled bagels had that perfect balance of a chewy interior and a crisp, golden crust. Evidently, the bakers took great pride in their craft, as every bite transported us to bagel bliss.

To complement their exceptional bagels, the shop provided an array of homemade cream cheese spreads, totalling up to 30 delectable choices. From traditional cream cheese varieties to innovative options like sundried tomato and bacon scallion, the spreads elevated the bagel experience to new heights. It was a joy to experiment with different combinations and create personalized flavour profiles.
