4 must-visit restaurants in Mexico City - Chef Elena Reygadas
If there’s a Mexican chef you should know about it’s Elena Reygadas. One of Mexico’s most celebrated chefs thanks to her very successful first Restaurant, Rosetta which put her on the ‘World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ list. This is only one of her many successes as she has a few other gems which we’re going to uncover for you below:

Elena’s first restaurant is housed in an elegant, early 20th-century mansion that exudes charm and sophistication.
The restaurant is celebrated for its commitment to organic and locally sourced ingredients, which are meticulously crafted into exquisite Italian-Mexican fusion dishes. The seasonal menu is a testament to Reygadas's dedication to freshness, flavour, and innovation. The ambience, with its lush indoor garden and artfully preserved colonial architecture, complements the dining experience making Rosetta a must-visit in our opinion.

Panaderia Rosetta
Roma Norte
We visited Panaderia Rosetta multiple times whilst in CDMX. An absolute must if you love nothing more than a pastry and coffee to start your day. Mexico might not be famous for its pastries but given Elena trained at a French Culinary Institute in NYC it’s no surprise you will find her flakey and irresistible pastries in each of her premises in CDMX.

Café Nin
Juárez
Café Nin is a more casual restaurant in comparison to Elena’s other restaurants Lardo and Rosetta. That said it is still very chic and you can still enjoy an aesthetic space with dishes that are just as tantalising.
Of course, you can enjoy her famous pastries, but here you can also expect tapas-style dishes, as well as Italian cuisine. Elena honed her skills in this Italian cuisine during her formative years at a Michelin-star Italian restaurant in London.
Lardo
Condessa
Lardo is a great brunch spot if you want a lively and stylish restaurant serving Mexican-European fusion dishes. Here you can enjoy her fresh baked goods with an equally delicious coffee or order from the menu for something heartier.
It gets particularly buzzy on a Sunday so do book ahead using this OpenTable link.
